Q:

No sound 47LE8500 Lg Lcd television

A:

Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your TV not working properly. We are here to help. Based on the symptom, I suspect this TV has a bad headphone jack. The headphone jack is solder into the circuit board. If the jack is replaced, most likely the TV will be fixed. However, unless you had training in electronics, I recommend scheduling service. This way the TV will be fixed properly without additional problems. I hope this helps.

If you do not feel comfortable repairing this problem yourself or if it is under warranty, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears Technician. You may
visit SearsHomeServices.com and follow the instructions, then click on the red next now button.

Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.

Q:

LG LED 47" 47LE8500 TV With Flickering Issue

A:

As a side note: The problem started after I owned the TV for four months. Before someone asks:yes it is under warranty and a Master Protection Agreement as well and yes I have scheduled a second service call. The problem is that the service call is 3 weeks out. I'm have no problems waiting because its not a fridge, just a tv. The problem is that they aren't sending any kind of part before hand and I'm affraid that after waiting 3 weeks either: they can't fix it or they can but the part has to be ordered and there goes 3 more weeks. If someone can tell me whats wrong it would be greatly appeciated. LG had no clue what to do. If I know whats wrong I can order it and install it myself so I don't have to wait the better part of a month to a month and a half especially sionce I paid almost $2,000 for it.

If you could provide the complete model number and serial number off the TV I could forward the information to the service department and see if what could be done.
