Q:

freezor door does not close tight Model #79575546401 KENMORE ELITE Bottom-Mount Refrigerator 59676523500 Kenmore Elite Kenmore refrigerator

A:

Rotate the leveling feet with pliers clockwise or counterclockwise to raise or lower the refrigerator until the bubble on the level rests between the two vertical lines can be very helpful . Some refrigerators have leveling screws next to the front feet. Turn the screws clockwise or counterclockwise with a screwdriver or nut driver until the refrigerator is level.  If it still doesn't close tightly, replace the closing cam which is Part #4775JJ2017H. I hope this helps.

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more than happy to assist you. I can understand any frustration you may have experienced with regards to your unit. Let’s see what we can do for you.

I'm showing that with this issue it has something to do with the lower hinge that is making that noise. I would replace that lower hinge and customized nut to make the squeaking stop. I’m showing the part numbers would be 4775JA2113A (hinge), 1NZZJA3023A (nut).

Hope this information has helped you. If you are not comfortable doing this repair you can click here to schedule a technician or call toll free 1-800-469-4663. Again, thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com.
