Q:

dryer failure 110.86671800

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com. I regret to hear that you are having issues with your dryer and do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. Im looking at your model number LER4624BW2 and If the dryer is not heating you could be experiencing an issue with the thermal fuse (3392519), operating thermostat (61894 ), high limit thermostat(341195)and thermostat 660039 . If you have an ohms/volt meter you can test these parts for the proper continuity. To test the parts, disconnect both wires from the components and test them at room temperature. The ohms reading for these components should be zero ohms. If the high limit thermostat is faulty, then replace the thermal cut-off as well and vice versa. They two components work together and come as a kit. If they component listed above test good, then the issue may be with the heating element (4391960 ) and I recommend testing it as well. You'll want to get a reading of 7.8 - 11.8 ohms for it to test good.  I have included a link to our PartsDirect page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Just click the blue link above to be taken to the page. If you have further questions please resubmit your question for further information.

Thanks for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com.

SAFETY NOTICE: Be sure to disconnect power to the appliance before performing any repairs. If you are not comfortable with doing any voltage checks that might be recommended, please contact Sears for repairs. Be aware that there could be sharp edges inside the appliance that could cause cuts or other injuries to yourself or others.

Q:

Looking for instructions for a vintage craftsman pocket level site #4624

A:

Thank you for your question.

I looked up the model number you submitted. I am sorry I could not find any instructions for using the pocket level. I suspect it is because of the age of the product. The level portion of the level should be the same as any other level. The only thing I am not sure about is how to use the sight portion of the level.

I looked for instructions on similar levels but did not have any luck there either. I wish I could have been more help to you.

Thank you for using Manage my life.

Mark

Thanks for trying Mark, but saddened that the Expert at Sears is not only unable to locate an instruction sheet, but also no knowledge of hand tool operation.
