Q:

Freezer fan not working 46162402010 Kenmore Compact refrigerator

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more then happy to assist you. Looking at the information im showing that its probably a bad connection somewhere. If the fan works at 110v and your only get 90v to the fan. But the board is get 110v? I would have to say something is wrong with the board. If its getting 110v but not putting that out then something is getting crossed over on the board. Replace the board and that should fix the issue. Hope this information has help you. If you are not comfortable doing this repair you can Click Here to schedule a technician or call toll free 1-800-469-4663. Any further questions or concerns. You will have to post a new question because at this time I can not reply to any comments. Again, Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting  ManageMyLife. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your appliance.

If the fan is running and the compressor is also running, but the unit is not cooling I would suggest that you have a coolant leak in the freezer.

Is the freezer sitting is a hot area like a garage that is unconditioned?  That will cause the same problem.

You may need to have a Sears technician out to check the charge of the coolant.

Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. We are always here to help.

Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.

Bill
