Question and Answers

Q:

Transmission overheating in 30 minute increments on model 917288360 917288360 Craftsman Tractor

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

Part of the maintenance for the tractor will be cleaning the transaxle fan and cooling fins. This is covered on page 18 of the owner's manual. I would start there and make sure they are clean and the fan is not damaged. That is what cools the transaxle.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

DLG0332W Idler Pulley DLG0332W Lg Dryer

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com and being a valued member.  I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your dryer is not working properly.

It does look to me like there is a bearing in the idler pulley. If your idler pulley is frozen then it will need to be replaced.

4560EL3001A is the idler pulley. There is a picture located on searspartsdirect.com.

Q:

Cycle stops after first fill DU1055XTVS1 Whirlpool Undercounter dishwasher

A:

Thank you for your inquiry on your Whirlpool Dishwasher, Model: DI1055XTVS1.  From reviewing the details on your model, if the wash motor will operate in the first wash but not operate in the 2 and 3 wash cycles could indicate a faulty wash motor or control board. The wash motor could be shutting off be the thermal overload protector inside the motor. The only way to know which is faulty will require monitoring the voltage supply at the wash motor across the White and Blue wires connected to the wash motor. These wires can also be accessed at the control board as well for testing the voltage supply to the wash motor.

Safety Warning: Before beginning the repair, disconnect the direct power supply to the dishwasher to prevent the risk of injury or any electrical shock.

If you don’t feel comfortable or confident in this repair, then you can have it repaired at home by a sears technician. I have the included a link to the website: Sears Home Services or call 1-800-469-4663

I hope this answered your question. Thank you for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com, and have yourself a wonderful day.
