A:

Thank you for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com with your questions about your television. I am so sorry you are having problems with it. I know the TV is a key component in our daily lives and know you want to get it working quickly. In this case I recommend you have this tested and repaired by a qualified technician. Internal components of the TV can retain dangerous high electrical charges even when the TV is disconnected from the power supply.

Here at SearsPartsDirect.com, we love to help you with your home repairs but in this case, for your safety, we recommend you have the TV serviced. If you would like a Sears technician to complete the repair, you can set up service at www.SearsHomeServices.com or by calling 1-800-469-4663.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter. I hope we can help you with any future repairs. Thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business.

That picture is not my TV stand. My part number is AAN31042202. It was substituted for part AAN31626703 which may be the part that your picture is showing. My part has no middle area to screw to the tv. Thanks.

Yes that is my part!!! The picture above looks like a different stand to me. The stand in the picture doesn't have the 2 pieces on the far sides. This one i have is shaped more like a U (as in the above most recent picture)? Am I seeing the picture wrong? The one in the above installation guide that you provided has a middle piece where you attach the bolts. The part that I received looks like it installs from the far sides? Maybe the far outside pieces need to slide towards the middle to look more like the part in your installation guide? Sorry to be so lame......

Location 520 is called the Main board. It does all the video and audio processing, plus all the commands for your TV to work properly. The “screen” would be item #200 which is the plasma panel itself. If the front screen is damaged it is an extensive repair and is very expensive. The part number is based on the service model number. You did include the model number, but LG has some additional letters after the model number to indicate the parts inside. One part number for a plasma panel for the base model number is EAJ36483201, but this part cannot be ordered from Sears, because it requires it to be installed by a technician. The parts itself is about $975. The total repair would cost about $1200.
