Q:

Actuating my door 1/2 HP

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be happy to help with your garage door opener. See if the remotes will reprogram to the opener. Also try to reprogram the external keypad. The issue could be with the board if the remotes will not program.

Thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business. Have a great day.

Q:

Replaced Logic Board...door won't go fully down 13953638SRT Craftsman 1/2 h.p. garage door opener

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your garage door opener. Upon researching model13953638SRT; it could be the limit switch assembly is out of sync. One thing I did notice is the panel that the board connects to has been updated as well. It could be the new panel has the connection for the safety sensor. Being that safety sensors are not hooked up it won’t let the door go down.

Thank you for choosing Sears. Have a great day.

Thanks for the feedback...so what are my options to get it to work? I agree and am also suspecting it is the sensors. I have done some research and it seems sensors are now govt mandated after my model. Can I retrofit sensors on older model or is there another way to get it to work without them...or should I just scrap the whole thing and get a whole new opener? I paid $75 for the new board and I think could get a whole new unit for about $150....could I use existing rails, chain etc....they are still in really good shape.

Q:

Blinking light on 41a4207-6c . 13953602 Craftsman Sears electronic garage door opener

A:

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when having trouble with the garage door opener.

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Craftsman Garage Door opener model number 139.53602 .

Blinking light?  Does it blink just once, twice, many times?

Lights blink
1 time:  The protector system wire is open or misaligned.
2 time:  Protector system wire shorted or black/white wire reversal.
3 time:  Door control or control panel shorted.
4 time:  Sensor slightly misaligned (dim or flashing Led sensor)
5 time:  Motor overheated/ Possible sensor failure--need to unplug to reset.
6 time:  Motor circuit failure- Replace control board.
Lights rapid flashing:  (Opener not necessarily programmed to respnd).

REPROGRAM KEYLESS ENTRY AND REMOTE:

To ERASE all codes.    Climb up the ladder.  Press and hold the learn button until the learn LED LIGHT  goes out which takes around 6 seconds.

Program the remote control:
After a few seconds of clearing the system:

Press and immediately release the learn button.   The LED will glow for around 30 seconds.   With-in that 30 second time frame press and hold the button on the remote that you intend to use for the garage door.  Press then release the button and when the garage door opener lights or there is 2 clicks then it is re-programmed.
