Question and Answers

Q:

Electrical question 41799680210 Kenmore Laundry center

A:

I don't recommend that you attempt to use the washer since the wires for the dryer are damaged. The dryer wires can short to the metal cabinet and cause an electrocution hazard. I recommend that you repair the wires in the dryer before attempting to use the washer.

Q:

specs to match model 417.99680210 41799680210 Kenmore Laundry center

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
I see the units were manufactured around 1994. Due to the age, we are very limited to the specifications available. Most newer models will have a feature sheet giving the dimensions and specs, but this Laundry Center doesn't have much to offer. I do see the weight as 132 lbs. and my system provides the shipping box dimensions as Length of 2'4", Width of 2'7", and Height of 3'8". That is not going to be accurate however, and seems like it may only be one of the units, whether it is referencing the washer or dryer. I would recommend grabbing a tape measure and just take the physical measurements. You will need the length, width, and height to make a valid comparison to newer models.
Sorry we couldn't be of any more help on this one and do appreciate your question. Thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

Q:

Kenmore dryer

A:

Good morning... I can fully understand the screeching noise of a bearing going out can drive the family crazy.... I did a search and found a link with a dryer very similar to yours, with a similar situation. Review this data and keep in mind that an expert will be getting back to you within the next two business days if not much sooner. I hope this helps and have a nice day

Hi,

Thank you for your question, and I would like to answer the question this way.
The Top will need to be opened up and the front panel removed to get access to the drum. When taking the belt off the dryer pay attention to the routing. You can see the belt routing by removing the small access panel on the rear of the dryer.

Always unplug or de-energize electrical equipment before removing covers or attempting service. Be careful and wear appropriate hand protection when working around sharp metal parts

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance please include more details in a reply to this entry below.
Thank you for using Manage My Life.
