Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

I no longer have technical information on this model. Here is what I recommend, start a cycle and as soon as the washer is full and starts to agitate, unplug the electrical connection. If the washer stops filling, inspect the air dome, and pressure switch hose for holes or leaks. If none are found, replace the pressure switch (part number 5303283044) . If the washer does not stop filling, replace the water inlet valve (part number 134190200). The remaining checks will require the use of an ohm/volt meter and you will have to perform ohm checks and/or live voltage checks. If you have a meter and are confident in your ability to safely perform these checks, reply to this post and I will be happy to assist you further.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Sorry for the difficulty on finding the information you need but congratulations on getting a good deal on an experienced laundry center.

Information can be difficult to come by on these older machines.

From the model number you submitted this laundry center has an electric dryer. This requires at least a 30 amp breaker/fuse to operate. You will nee one breaker for the washer and one for the dryer.

While the washer can operate on a 15 amp fuse the dryer cannot. The 15 amp fuse would work with a gas dryer. According to the model number this is an electric dryer.

What worries/confuses me is the 110 volt cord you say is on the machine. This would only be correct if you have a gas dryer. Did the prior owner modify anything?

This may be an older machine but that's okay since I'm an older tech. I'm sorry there's no manuals for this model but I believe I can help you install it.

If needed the rear panel can be removed to check for a heating element.

The terminal block of the dryer should have a black, white and red wire connected to it.

Let me know if this helps and if you have any additional questions or information concerning this problem and we'll further assist you.
