Hi George,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

I no longer have access to information on appliances of this age. Here is a link to the Installation Guide on a laundry center that should be similar to this one. I could not find a wiring diagram for this model or one like it.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Here is a link that you may use to view the parts list diagram and for parts purchases; Sears Parts Direct .

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Thanks again for using Manage My Life.

Q:

What would cause my Kenmore laundry center model 417.99160100 to make noise in the spin cycle?

A:

The expansion nut is part of the shipping material. The bolt and the expansion nut have to be removed from the bottom of the washer. Doing this should take care of the problem. The tub has a plastic ring that is rides on and springs that hold it into place. If the tub is hitting on the side of the cabinet the problem could be the washer is over loaded. If you need further assistance please resubmit your question.
