Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect. I will be more than happy to assist you with your Kenmore washer.

From the information you have provided above, One reason for front load washer problems is that they aren't level. Most machines come with adjustable feet. Look at the bottom corners and check to see that all the feet are solidly on the ground.

If your machine is making a rumbling noise as the drum turns then you most likely have an issue with the drum bearings. It's possible that normal use can allow water to get to the bearings. Remove the washing machine belt and manually turn the drum. If you hear a rumble as you turn the drum then problem is the ball bearings. Remove and replace them with new ones.

Some of the most common front load washer problems can be traced back to loose change. It is not always easy to see inside the washing machine so slowly turn the drum and listen for rattling of metal on metal
If the noise is a high pitched squeal then the drive belt is the most likely cause. Consult your machine's manual to learn how to access the drive belt of your machine then replace the belt.

I hope you found this information useful. Again thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business, have a great day.
