These directions do not work on my washer. My washer does not have a Cycle Selector knob or a Presoak setting. My washer is a Kenmore Model # 417.44252500. It has Program and Temperature knobs that turn but do not push in. It has Spin, Options/Select, Delay Start, Start and Pause/Cancel buttons. Do have other instruction that will work on my machine? Do you have a chart that tells what the diagnostic codes mean? Thank You

Q:

Washer pulling synthetic fabrics apart 41744252500 Kenmore Washer

A:

Thank you for contacting Sears. I will be more than happy to assist you with your Kenmore washer.

I can understand the frustration of your washer not functioning properly, after researching model number 417.44252500. It seems like the problem is coming from the door boot. Clothe will get caught in the boot while the drum rotates and causes the damaged. Over time the boot will wear. Clothes with zippers and buttons get caught in the boot causing it to tear and rip. The part number for the door boot is 134515300.

I hope you found this information useful. Again thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business, have a great day.
