Thank you for submitting your question. I understand your concern and I will be happy to assist you. The washer may not spin because of a faulty door lock assembly or main control board. Your washer should be flashing the 5 vertical LED's and the Start LED indicating a fault code which should tell us the issue the washer is experiencing. You can identify the code by counting how many times the Start LED is flashing and how many times the 5 vertical LED's are flashing and then looking at the information and instructions in the image below. Please reply back to this thread with the results of your diagnostic test for further assistance. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Joe, I apologize you're unable to see the diagnostic and error code sheet above. I've provided the same sheet in the link below. Alright, E47 error code indicates the main control board things the door PTC circuit is open doing the spin. In other words the door lock is not properly engaged when the washer is trying to do the spin cycle. It states to perform test #9 (image below).

Joe, you will need an ohms/volt meter to perform the necessary test above. The PTC wax motor for the door lock assembly may check good on the meter but fail during the spin operation. If you do not feel comfortable performing test or repairing this problem yourself, I recommend scheduling for service. You can schedule for service online with our Sears Home Services team. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The magnet should just push in the proper channel and lock in place with the plastic tab. I recommend using some gel supper glue and glue the magnet in place or it could come out again. I added three images below showing where the magnet (key#51) clips into place.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
