Spin cycle has become insanely loud -- does it need a lube? Bearings checked? 41743052200 Kenmore Washer

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com and being a valued member.  I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your washer is making noise and leaving marks.
131525500  is the bearing part number.

I have located information that explains the spots. If your unit is making a noise like a jet is taking off then it is your bearing that needs to be replaced.

Q:

SELECTOR SWITCH 41743052200 Kenmore Washer

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear of the loose selector switch on the Kenmore washer. I know how frustrating that is to have happen.

In order to see how it's loose, you will need to undo the back cover screws and take off the end caps on either side of the control panel to open it up. The switches will typically have tabs that fit into grooves on the control panel to secure them in place. It could be one of the tabs have broken, not allowing the switch to remain stationary. I do also see a screw involved, but it doesn't clarify if that is for one switch or for all of them. However, the best thing you can do is unplug the unit, open it up, and visually inspect the loose switch. You will be able to see how it mounts and correct it. If it mounts via tabs and the tabs are damaged, you will need to replace whichever component is damaged.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Washer won't spin Model 41743052200 41743052200 Kenmore Washer

A:

Thank you for choosing sears I would be happy to help you with your washer. Upon researching model 41743052200; it sounds like the control board may need to be replaced. The control board is a circuit-control board in a front-load washer that's usually in the bottom of the washer next to the drive motor. It monitors and controls the drive motor speed and direction for the tumble and spin actions during the cycle. If the motor doesn't run, the motor control board might need to be replaced. I have posted a link below of the control board key# 64.

.

I trust that this information will help you, thank you have a great day.
