Thank you for your question.

I can understand wanting to replace the regulator on the grill.

I am sorry but the manufacture of this model required that you replace the whole console with the manifold and valves.

The problem with that is it is no longer available for the 2001 model grill.

You would have to break the crimp band and then find a regulator with the same size fittings locally and then re-clamp the hoses.

Because this is a LP gas using appliance I would not recommend repairing this for fear the fittings would leak and cause a safety issue which could be dangerous.

I would recommend replacing the grill.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Q:

I have a Kenmore gas grille (Model # 415.167410) & need a new cermanic ignitor; however, the part has been discontinued. Will ignitor modeule (#7000160) work?

A:

Finding the right part can sometimes be confusing. While you wait for the expert to answer, you can view the parts list at Sears Parts Direct. It lists substitute parts if available. If you decide you would prefer to have a technician make the repair, an option is to visit Sears Home Services and use the handy scheduler. Good luck with the repair.

The 7000160 electrode will work if you can get it mounted so it will light the burners. We don't have a way to cross reference another electrode that might work.
