Q:

Where can I get an cord for a hand-held mixer?

Maestro, thanks, but as I wrote in my original post - Sears no longer makes this cord and it is not available from Sears (I had already done the search you recommended.) I need to find an alternative to the "obsolete" part # 3082-068-0101, and that is why I included the dimensions of 5/16ths of an inch between the holes in the female plug. My ancient Sony boom-box cord has such a plug and it WILL power the mixer, but it will NOT stay seated without me holding it in place (so of defeats the purpose). Any other ideas?
