heavy duty washer insufficient spin for medium to large loads. can this be fixed? our service provider (Excel) said no.

Thank you for a very good description of the symptoms. From what you described I recommend having the clutch replaced. If the clutch pads are worn down or if oil from normal use is on the clutch drum or pads the basket will not spin properly with heavy full loads but will with lighter small loads.

If Excel still will not replace the clutch get back with us on this & we will provide you step by step instructions for the clutch replacement process.
