Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand the importance of having a properly working refrigerator. According to the model and serial number this is a 1996 model refrigerator. The general life expectancy of refrigerators is between 8-12 years. One thing you can check for is any frost in the freezer section. If you see frost, this may be blocking air flow to the refrigerator section and causing it not to cool correctly. If you see this, try doing a manual defrost. To do this, empty the unit, uplug the unit, and leave the doors open for about 24 hours to completely defrost the unit. I hope this helps.

The information James R sent is good, but it is for a different icemaker than you have.

If the ice mold has no ice in it, add 3-4 ounces of water to it and see if it harvests the cubes.

Be sure the sensing arm on the icemaker is down and if it doesn't harvest the ice, you should replace the icemaker.

If the icemaker harvests the ice, inspect the fill tube behind the icemaker for ice blockage. You can melt this ice with a hairdryer and if the icemaker still doesn't make ice replace the water valve.

If you have questions, reply on this thread and I will be glad to help.
