It's nice to know the size of your refrigerator. You have already received some good information. This is a 25 cubic foot side by side refrigerator. The energy guide # SR1199 may have the size of the individual sections (freezer and fridge). This guide is available at SearsPartsDirect . I hope this helps you. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

I understand your concern. You have received some good information but it's not for this model. Now, as for a picture or diagram of the water system, unfortunately, there is none. The new water tank will come with the tubing attached, so there is no need for any more tubing. The tubes in the cabinet now, will pull out. One tube connects to the water inlet valve behind the unit and the other side to a fitting under the freezer door. It might be easier for you to cut the existing tubes close to the reservoir and the tubes on the new tank and then splice the lines together. Some water fittings can be purchased at most any local hardware store, to splice the lines together. You can also get a couple of fittings # 2300868 at SearsPartsDirect . I hope this will help you. For more assistance, any additional details will be helpful.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

I can understand your concern. The information you have received is good. To access the reservoir, remove the crispers. It's located behind them. A reservoir can be difficult to clean and may not be able to be cleaned completely. It would have to be removed and then try running some hot water and vinegar through it. I recommend replacing the reservoir # WR17X4358 for this condition. Normally, a water filter will remove the chlorine and without chlorine, there is nothing to fight bacteria. In this case, to help keep the algae from developing, the water will need to be used on a regular basis, to keep it moving. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, any additional details will be helpful and I will be glad to assist you further.
