thanks but that did not address removal of the insert handle channel on my refrigerator door. It is a solid black piece, probably plastic , that runs down the lengh of the door and is the outer side of the door handle / stiffener handle / channel handles.

Thank you for your question.

I can understand wanting to replace the trim parts on your door handle.

  • You should be able to slide the top and bottom end caps off both ends and the trim is just a friction fit onto the channel be it that screws to the door.

  • Carefully use a small flat bladed pocket screwdriver to start the prying to release from the channel.

  • If you already have the new one look at the inside edges on the new trim piece to see how it snaps into place.
