Question and Answers

Q:

Shut off noise 363.68282 891

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com and being a valued member. It is unfortunate to hear that you are having issues with your refrigerator and I do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. I'm looking at your model number 36368282890 and from your description I would suspect the compressor is producing this sounds possibly due to the vibration when it shuts off. I recommend removing the rear cover and try to determine where the sound is coming from. It can also be the evaporator fan motor near the compressor. I recommend having a technician diagnose the problem if you do not feel comfortable troubleshooting the problem. I trust this information will help you.

Thank you for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com.

SAFETY NOTICE: Be sure to disconnect power to the appliance before performing any repairs. If you are not comfortable with doing any voltage checks that might be recommended, please contact Sears for repairs. Be aware that there could be sharp edges inside the appliance that could cause cuts or other injuries to yourself or others.

I understand your concern. Unfortunately, if there is not a letter on the back of your refrigerator, it will not be possible to determine which letter to use. The letter indicates which parts of the kit, will need to be used or not used. This will need to be visually inspected, without a letter, to determine what will need to be done to install this kit. A technician may be needed. I'm listing a site you can access, to have a tech come out. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services . Thank you for using Manage My Life.
