Question and Answers

Q:

Oven doesn't heat up to temperature 362.75622301

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear of the issue you're having with the oven not heating properly. I know how frustrating that is to have happen.

Since the igniter lights, we can be fairly sure the igniter, gas valve, and burner tube are all working. I suspect the issue will be with either the oven temperature sensor or the electronic control board.

You can check the resistance of the oven temperature sensor probe using a volt/ohm meter. If you unplug the wire harness connection, you can check the resistance through the sensor. You should measure around 1091 ohms of resistance through that component at room temperature (75 degrees F).  If the resistance of the sensor probe is way off, then that component (part WB21X5301) will need to be replaced. If the sensor checks out, it will more than likely be an issue with the control board.

If you would feel more confident have a Sears Home Service technician help assist with the diagnosis/repair, you can call 1-800-469-4663, or click here to be directed to the page to set up service.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.
