Question and Answers

Q:

Need repair advice for this model 36275620300 Kenmore Gas range

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your range. Upon researching model 36275620300; a bad line error on this type of range normally indicates that the control does not detect the proper electrical connections to the range. Check your house breakers (or fuses) for the range outlet first. If you find no problem there then you may be able to unplug the range (or shut off the breakers) and pull the range out. Check the wiring connections on the terminal block on the back of the range where the outlet plug is connected. If the wiring on the terminal block is okay then you may want to check the voltage through the electrical outlet for the range if you have a volt/ohm meter and you are confident that you can safely use it.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.

Q:

how can my customer set her kenmore gas range

A:

Thank you for your question.

The range is likely beeping and displaying "loc" because the door locking mechanism has failed to lock the door or the door has locked but the control did not detect the door being locked.

You could try applying slight inwards pressure on the top of the oven door in case the door locking mechanism is binding and then press Stop/Cancel. If it continues to beep and display "loc", unplug the power cord to stop the beeping. This should clear and reset everything.

If you have anymore questions, please reply to this post.

Thank you for choosing Manage My Life.
