Thanks for the information about your range model 362.7555890, I will be glad to assist you.Based on your description of the problem I can see one of two reasons the burner would not allow proper gas flow. The burner base is clogged, (maybe a spillover could cause this) and it needs cleaning or the burner control valve is not opening and need replacing. Try cleaning the burner base first if this does not help you should replace the burner valve assembly. Here is a link for Sears Parts direct for ordering parts.     If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services. Ron H.

I posted a wiring diagram for your range in the first image below. I traced the wires in colors on the top diagram. That yellow wire may be gray. The wiring diagram is difficult to read. The second image shows a photograph of the control board with the spades marked in wire colors. That information should help you properly connect the wires.

If you need more assistance, reply with additional details.

Thank you for your question.

Having your oven not working can be inconvenient.

If I understand you correctly, you want to replace the bake burner igniter assembly.

  • First REMOVE POWER from the range.

  • Open the oven door and remove the oven bottom. There should be two screws at the back bottom and then lift from the back pull back to release from the front of the oven bottom.

  • Next you will see the flame spreader. Remove the fastener's that secure this to the burner.

  • Once removed you will see the burner tube with the igniter fastened to the side of the burner tube with screws. Remove the screws and carefully pull the wire harness form out of the back of the range until you can gain access to the porcelain wire nuts that fasten the wires to the harness. Un-screw these wire nuts and install the new igniter.(Be careful not to damage the new igniter they are very fragile).

NOTE! if you cannot get the wire nuts on the igniter harness to come through the back wall you will need to access them from the back side of the range.

  • Once you have the new igniter installed, make sure the wires are back in there original position away from the burner heat, replace the flame spreader and the oven bottom.

  • Re-connect to power and test operation.

I hope this information will help with your repair.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

If you have not acquired the igniter the part number is:WB2X9154 for about $75.00 and you can order this part from: Sears Parts Direct .
