Question and Answers

Q:

oven doesn't reach temperature 36275375690 Kenmore Gas range

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear of the issue you’re having with the oven not reaching temperature. I know how frustrating that can be.

I agree with your analysis; if the oven igniter is weak it will not glow hot enough or pull enough current in order for the oven gas valve to open. The oven igniter is located under the floor of the oven cavity.

I see that previous question and answer, and it should have been mentioned that the sensor should be tested with a meter before replacing. The sensors would have a resistance of approximately 1100 ohms at room temperature.

In either event, the igniter being weak would most closely resemble your issue. Disconnect the igniter and check it for continuity with an ohm meter. If the igniter does not measure any resistance/continuity, replace the igniter. The igniter is part number WB13K21 for this model.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Q:

oven doesn't reach temperature 36275375690 Kenmore Gas range

A:

Thank you for choosing sears I would be happy to help you with your range. Upon researching model 36275375690; based on the description provided, it sounds like you may need to replace the oven temperature sensor. the oven temperature sensor probe detects the actual temperature in the oven cavity. When it’s not detecting the temperature properly, it will cause the oven doesn't maintain the temperature you set. I have posted a link below of the temperature control sensor.

I trust this information will help you, have a great day.
