Oven won't shut off 3627515190 Kenmore Gas range

I am sorry to hear of the issue your tenants have had with shutting off the power to the oven. I know how concerning that is.

The thermostat wouldn't be in play here, as the thermostat just senses the temperature to tell the electronic control when to turn on and off. This would typically be an issue with a welded relay on the electronic board itself for power. The board will more than likely need replacement.
