Q:

How to convert my kenmore oven to propane????? 36272765890 Kenmore Gas range

A:

Hello, glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com. We, at Sears, value your service.

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when there is items needed for the gas range.

Glad to help out.  I’m looking at your Kenmore range model number 36272765890.

I see you want to change this range from natural to LP.   You need to put in the LP gas orifice and put it in each burner at the top of the range.   Part number for the LP orifice is WB28K0008.

To make the oven convert from natural to LP then you need to get a qualified gas person to make the adjustment off the gas valve.

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Kenmore Range model number 362.72765890.

Sorry this isn't a car to get more power.   The flames is done through the orifices and make sure you have the correct ones because I know sometimes people change the stoves from natural to LP.

There is no way I can help for you to get more power on this range than to order the original parts.

Q:

Oven not working 36272765890 Kenmore Gas range

A:

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when there is a problem with the range.

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Kenmore model number 362.72765890.

On your ignitor where it lights up.  Is it an orange flame or a bright red flame.  If it is orange the ignitor, though seemingly to work isnt.   The flame needs to be red.

If the ignitor is red and it is not getting the gas to that point of the ignitor then what needs to be replaced is the  safety valve.

on the ignitor and the burner tube, you can also try to clean them to see if that makes a difference.

 Instructions on cleaning ignitor:

1.  Please remove the racks from inside the oven.

2.  Locate the ignitor on the back bottom side.

3.  Unscrew the screws that holds the ignitor to the oven and pull out the wire clip.  The ignitor is fully disengaged and now can be removed from inside the oven.

4.  Soak the ignitor in a plastic container filled with solvent.  Soak it for around 20 minutes.

5.  Take out the ignitor from the solvent and try to dry with a paper towel carefully.

6.  Spray your ignitor with a can of compressed air so it will remove any left over particles.  Then just reinstall the ignitor by the way that you removed it.

Safety valve per the model 362.72765890
