Thank your for your question and I understand your concern. I must assume the spark electrodes are sparking when the burner knob is turned to the lite positions.

The likely causes of the burners not igniting are clogged burner ports or the burner cap is not sitting properly on the burner head. I added an image below with the general cleaning procedures and instructions.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Sealed burners do not have an air mixture adjustment. I recommend calling a service tecninician to diagnose and repair your burners. The top cannot be raised until the two screws around each burner are removed. See image below. The image I added below shows the two screws to remove. It say's "do not remove" These are the screws that must be taken out before the top can be raised.

It may or may not need a part. Finding the cause is not always evident. Sometimes you have to replace parts until it works as designed and this is why I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose what's causing the issue.

Howdy. this thread seems closest to my problem. Range lit fine like two weeks ago when last I tried it (my apt for rent). Now the igniter sparks but no flame. no response to match lightting so I think its not getting gas. Oven fires right up. Wish I had diagnostic method of procedure.........

Rich: I can't see all 4 burners not getting gas if the oven will heat so I must assume only one burner is not getting any gas. If it's not opening and allowing gas to flow to the burner I suspect a faulty surface burner valve. I added images to reference below with the procedure of accessing the burners and burner valve. I strongly suggest calling a service technician if you do not feel confident and safe in repairing the gas range. Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing. Shut the gas supply off before removing any gas burner valves.
