Q:

How can I get an owners manual for this model 11329330 Craftsman Sears 9 in radial arm saw

A:

Thank you for being Sears’ valued member and for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com with your question about an owner’s manual for your Craftsman radial arm saw model 11329330. I am sorry but due to the age of this product the owner’s manual is no longer available. This saw was manufactured before we began putting manuals online. The manufacturer stopped printing copies of the manual several years ago.

I was able to locate a saw that looks very similar to your model. The manual for it is on our website. I have included the link below for you to view it.

I have included the link for reference purposes only. It should give you an idea of many of the features and functions of your saw. Do not use this manual to order parts as they may not fit your model.

I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business.

Here's a link for the owners manual for your 9" saw model # 113.29330. http://rasrecall.com/admin/documents/docsmanager/40_3610_2.pdf FYI: This saw has a safety recall. http://rasrecall.com/ You get $100 but must send the motor back therefore totally disabling the unit so it will not work again. The safety guard replacement is NOT available for the 9" unit... THANKS SEARS for having me throw out a great tool and only giving me $100 :-(

You have received some good information from Pvalde but it does not pertain to this model. To check the heater using the test terminal, first disconnect power to the unit. Now using a well insulated wire, jump the test terminals and reconnect the power. If the heating element now comes on, the defrost control board # W10353224 will need to be replaced. If the element still won't heat, disconnect the power and remove the jumper. Now check the resistance from the brown wire in the test terminal, to any white wire. If you get a reading, the bi-metal # 2321799 will need to be replaced. If there is no reading, the heating element # 2188175 will need to be replaced. These parts are available at SearsPartsDirect . I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, please reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further. Any additional details will also be helpful.

Jim, there is a test terminal next to the defrost control board in the control housing. I'm attaching a picture of the wiring diagram which shows the test terminal. If the unit is in a defrost cycle and the element is not heating, if a jumper is placed across these two terminals and if the element heats, it indicates the defrost thermostat is not closing and will probably need to be replaced. I hope this will help you.

A:

Jim, to put this unit into a defrost cycle, the following must be done in the sequence listed. 1. Disconnect the power. 2. Turn the thermostat off and leave it off. 3. Reconnect the power. After a few minutes check to see if, the element is heating. Now also, the temperature in the freezer must be below 15 degrees, when making this test. I hope this will help you.

Scott, I followed your instructions. When I plugged the frig in to reach the 15, I failed to realize that the light would not turn off on the frig side because the button could not be depressed with thecontrol box hanging down. When I checked it after an hour, the bulb had melted the control box. I ordered a new control board, control box and lever. Your instructions helped me to restore my frig and got me out of the dog house, thanks. Jim

Priscilla V, I had tried this but their diagram doesn't really show the insulation I'm talking about. They do have a part called "wrapper" but it is not pointed on their drawing (I wonder if this is the insulation I'm talking about). Sears customer service sent me here to get feedback from the experts.

Thank you for your question. The "wrapper" is actually the entire sheet metal cabinet and I believe it is lined with insulation. Goodman does not have an insulation kit that can be purchased. Any insulation that could be added would have to be 1/2" thick and foil lined or other approved fire retardant insulation.

If you still have the insulation, you can glue it to the cabinet with Gorilla glue or any other glue that would adhere to fiberglass insulation.

The upper panel would probably be lined from the factory, but seeing as it is a Goodman product, it would not be available to be ordered by you as the consumer. It would have to be ordered by a Service Technician from Sears or a Goodman dealer.
