Q:

Fuel line installation 358797550 Craftsman Gas blower

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

The fuel line with the filter (the smaller diameter line) starts in the tank with the filter and then goes to the lower connection on the carburetor. The other line will be the return from the carburetor back to the tank and will go in about an inch or so. I have attached a diagram to assist with this explanation. The image is not model specific, but it will be a great visual for the installation of the lines.  If you don't see the image, click here to view the response on ManageMyLife.com with image. Hopefully it will help.

Q:

Craftsman leaf blower kill switch wire 358797550

A:

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when there is trouble with the leaf blower.

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Craftsman model number 358.797550.

I have used a blower and think it's the greatest tool.  Mine doesn't have a kill switc/wire and there is not one on this either.  When it comes to getting a spark on any small engine then it is the spark plug or the ignition module.  On the spark plug did you get it from us?   I know when you buy them over the counter that they will not be pregapped.  Very important to make sure it is gapped at the right degrees.  I know the gap size should be 0.025.  I know when you get them from Sears Parts that they will be pregapped.

If you have further questions please let me know.

Thanks for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

A:

Thank you for you question on how to remove the clam shell covers on the blower.

You will need to remove the handle and the trap door at the bottom and the metal clip buy the trap door by the fan.

Then remove all the screws in the case and on some models you will need to remove the air cleaner box and carburetor and the on some models the muffler.

There are motor mount rubber and motor supports you will need to keep track of as you remove the covers so you can return then to the engine to isolate it from the covers.

I hope this will help you.
