Q:

Broken Handle 358794944 Craftsman Blower

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

To repair the handle, you will need part number 530058757. You will need to undo the mounting screws for the handle to relase it from the blower housing. If the screws are not visible or accessible, you may have to disassemble the side covers to access the screws. There will be a little disassembly involved, but it shouldn't be intensive.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Q:

Choke lever replacement. 358794944 Craftsman Blower

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I can certainly assist you in locating the instructions to replace the choke lever on your blower. I did look into the model number you have provided, and I have found information to assist you.

To remove the choke plate you will need a small flat blade screwdriver and a pair of pliers. Insert the screwdriver between the choke plate and the shaft. This will prop the shaft up so the notch in the plate that locks it place will clear. Once you have the screwdriver in place use, the pliers to pull the choke plate out. Note the position of the plate before removing it. When you are ready to install the plate, slide it into the slot in the shaft.
