Q:

Carb screw sdjustment 358794810 Craftsman Blower

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com and being a valued member. It is unfortunate to hear that you are having issues with your blower and I do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. I'm looking at your model number 358794810 and Poulan is the original manufacturer for the blower and does not include this information and is possible that you will need to contact Poulan. I refer to the owner’s manual page 14,15 and is not recommend that they are moved due to the emission laws. Just click the blue link above to be taken to the page. I trust this information will help you.

Thank you for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com.

I have the blower apart and have gotten to the rubber boot, But the problem is the rubber boot wont pull out. The hard plastic piece attachted to the front of the rubber boot will not pull out it seems like its stuck to something other than just the rubber boot. I am trying not to damage the plastic peice in trying to remove the boot. Is there some other means holding it in ,or does the boot just get pulled out.

Q:

install boot carburetor on leaf blower 358794810 Craftsman Blower

A:

Thank you for your question.

I will be happy to assist you with this question. I looked up the model number you submitted. According to the parts list the carb boot does not have a clip to secure it. The boot may have a spring that is made into it that secures it to the cylinder and carb plate. The boot should fit tight on each part. If it seems loose I recommend replacing the boot otherwise air could leak and affect the way it runs.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Mange my life.
