Q:

leafblower trouble 358794763 Craftsman Blower

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear of the issue you're having with the blower. I know how frustrating that is.

Sometimes the spark screen can get clogged and cause issues with the unit shutting down. However, this sounds more carburetor related to me. This carburetor doesn't have a rebuild kit, but you could try cleaning it. There are some great YouTube videos that show how to clean these smaller carbs. You can also watch a few videos on how to heat the spark screen to clean it. If those don't help, you may need a replacement carburetor.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the blower. Before going though the work of removing the switch to test it, I recommend checking the engine for spark. If the engine is producing spark the kill switch is not defective. I found a video that shows how to check for spark. Click here to watch the video. If you do not have spark you need to dismantle the blower and remove the kill wire from the coil. Then check for spark again. If you have spark I recommend replacing the kill switch. If you need to order parts for the blower, you can do so from the following link.
