A:

Hi,

Thanks for contacting  ManageMyLife. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your appliance.

Sometimes the muffler becomes clogged and the unit will not stay running.  You could remove the muffler and while wearing hearing protection start it up and see if that is the problem.

Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. We are always here to help.

Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.

Hello Mr. Rosengren,

I would like to answer your question and provide assistance to you. The fuel filter in your Weedwacker is attached to the end of the fuel line, in the fuel tank. I have attached a, illustration at the end of this reply for your assistance. Here is a video that shows how to replace fuel lines. I have also attached another video here, that shows how to determine which line is which.

Sears Parts Direct is a direct link to parts for your trimmer. Please let me know if you would like any further assistance.
