I see you are looking for an air filter for your specific model Chain saw.  I would advise to change the spark plug too if you haven't done that recently.

The pin is vent for the oil reservoir. It does not show to go in the same spot as where the oil comes out from to oil the chain. It shows that the pin will go in just above and slightly back from where the bar stud is mounted on the main body of the saw. I checked to see if I had a model in the shop that uses this same set up and I do not, so I'm not able to provide any photos of this situation for you to use as a guide. I'll look around the internet and see if I can locate a photo of the exact spot of this pin for you. Anything I find, I'll post back on this thread.
