There is no way for the bar and chain oil to mix into the combustion chamber. The only thing I could think of is this is a 2-cycle engine and need a fuel oil mixture. Make sure you using a 16:1 fuel mixture for this chainsaw. It could need a basic tune up as well.

Chain oiler 358355061

Thank you for choosing sears I would be happy to help you with your chain saw. Upon researching model358355061; this model does not require a chain oiler, since the lubrication is provided by automatic oiler system when the oil tank is kept filed.

Thanks for quick reply. The oil does not appear to be coming out though. Chain stays dry. I assume it probably needs taken apart and cleaned in the area where the bar attaches?
