Q:

Repair ice chute flapper on RF267ADRS/XAA 358353672

A:

Thank you for choosing Searspartsdirect.com and being a valued member. I can certainly assist you.

I recommend calling 18004MYHOME and speaking to our customer care department so they can do a research on the part. I show your unit is 2013 so there should be no reason the flapper is not available unless they substituted it.

 1. Insert a flat-blade screwdriver on the slot and unlock the tabs.

2. Remove the display cover by pushing it to the right side and pulling it up.

3. Disengage the housing connect of display cover.

You can also visit searpartsdirect.com for parts, diagrams, and repair information.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Thank you for your question. Have a great day.

SAFETY NOTICE: Be sure to disconnect power to the unit before performing any repairs. If you are not comfortable with doing any voltage checks that might be recommended, please contact your local service provider for repairs. Be aware that there could be sharp edges inside the appliance that could cause cuts or other injuries to yourself or others.
