Question and Answers

Q:

Chainsaw 358352380 358352380 Craftsman 1994 - chain saw

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear that the oiler is no longer properly oiling the bar and chain. I know how frustrating that is.

You are correct; this oiler is an automatic feed. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has since discontinued production of the oil pump assembly, and it is no longer being offered with no direct substitute for the original.

I don't know if you've taken it apart to clean it, but that may be a viable option. Outside of that, you could run an internet search for part number 530-010195 to see if there are any new old stock (NOS) options available for it. Since there was nothing substituted in, the design has more than likely changed from the original and nothing will be a direct fit.

We wish you all the best, and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Q:

Chainsaw Model #358.352380 358.352380

A:

Thank you for your question. I added a link to Instruction Manual and on page 25 it will make reference to the "L" low speed mixture, "H" high speed mixture and "T" idle speed adjustment screws. Based on you symptom, you will likely need to adjust the low speed, idle and possible the high speed adjustment screws in order to get the saw to idle correctly and to accelerate correctly. Here is a video to assist.
