Thank you for your question on the routing of the throttle cable.

You will need to remove the side cover from the handle to install the cable into the throttle trigger.

From the back side of the filter box the cable goes through a grommet in a groove cut in the body and into the handle assembly.

The cable has a ball on the end that fits into the trigger.

I hope this will help.

Thanks Sam A, but I need to understand the routing and connection to the carburetor. I did not need to disassemble the trigger connection. The cable 'end' to the carburetor has a 'L' shaped metal 'clip', but with no fastener. There are two throttle plates with holes. One is for the choke. Is the other for the throttle cable and if so how is it routed there and how does the 'L' shaped clip stay attached? Brian Nagle

I am sorry I misunderstood that you needed the other end. There is a hole or series of holes in the throttle lever on the carburetor that is spring loaded. Take the point of the L on the cable and feed it into the hole on the throttle plate and flatten out the L. When you pull the throttle trigger it will need to pull this throttle plate all the way open and then when you let go of the trigger, the spring on the throttle plate will pull it back and close the throttle back to idle. If this is not the case I can contact the manufacture to see if we are missing any throttle lever wires. Please let me know how it goes and reply if that is not working for you. Sam A.
