I am sorry you are having a problem with the saw. The muffler should not be blowing on the handle. If this is happening I suspect there is a problem with the muffler. I recommend removing the muffler and taking it apart. Then inspect the screen inside of it. If the screen is plugged it can be cleaned with a wire brush and carburetor cleaner. If that does not cure the problem I recommend replacing the muffler. Something in the muffler is causing it to blow onto the handle. The part number for the muffler is 530069707 and can be ordered from the following link.
