Hello Rick,

I would like to assist you with your chainsaw switch replacement. The two contacts marked load are attached to the two black wires from the motor. The contacts marked line are attached to the white and black wires from the pigtail that plugs into the wall. There is no polarity to be worried about to this motor. Just be sure that the motor connectors only go to the two load connectors and the line only to the white and black wires.
