Q:

replacing fuel lines on craftsman chainsaw model 358-351062 358-351062

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

There isn't anything specific published on the fuel line routing, but to help you, I have provided a fuel line routing diagram below to use as guidance. Don't worry about mixing up the carburetor connections. If they are backwards, it just won't stay running. If that's the case, just reverse them.

Q:

Ignition Module for Chain Saw 358.351062

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear of the issue you're having getting the chainsaw started. I know how frustrating that is to have happen.

If your ignition module is loose, the gap is probably out of alignment, and is more than likely causing the issue.

The gap should be set to .012", which will be the thickness of a standard business card. Once adjusted, if it still doesn't fire, it will more than likely be fuel related. The carburetor would be the prime suspect, as it could have a blocked fuel jet.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Q:

Chain saw won't start with fresh fuel & replaced spark plug 358351062 Craftsman Chain saw

A:

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when having trouble with the chain saw.

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Craftsman model number 358.351062.

These chain saws to get and keep the spark is the spark plug and the ignition-module.   When you got your spark plug did you get it from us or a hardware store.   When you get them from us they are pre gapped and not so at the hard ware stores.   I would get the igniton-module, the correct spark plug, air filter, and fuel filter for the saw to run properly.

Ignition module per model 358.351062

spark plug per model 358.351062

air filter per model 358.351062

fuel filter per model 358.351062

If you have further questions please let me know.

Thanks for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com
