Q:

Craftsman 12" professional table saw parts

A:

I understand how it can be important on having the right part needed for repair on your Saw. I recommend while waiting for a detailed reply from an expert is to visit the Sears parts direct website were you can not only find a full parts diagram on your Saw you also may find a direct number were you can speak with a parts associate in regards to getting the proper part for your Saw, Which I have added the link below. Hope this helps!

I am sorry to tell you the cast iron extension for the table is no longer available for ordering. I checked online and did not find the part there either. I am afraid you might not find a replacement part for the table saw.

Q:

Table saw will not start

A:

I can understand how upsetting it would be to have the table saw so unreliable. While you wait for the expert to review your model you might want to check a previous expert answer. The model is different but the expert answer should still apply. I attached the link below along with the scheduler to Sears Home Services if professional repair is needed. Hope this information helps.

Thank you for your question on the motor of your table saw not always starting and I am sorry that it is not performing for you.

Since you have already replaced the starting control box there are only two other possibilities.

The capacitor on the motor, or the motor itself.

I am hoping it is the capacitor.

You might want to check or have the capacitor checked.

The part number for the capacitor is 23138.00 and it is a 400 MFD at 250 volts ac.

Please let me know what you have found and I will help you in anyway I can.

Sam A.
