Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the saw. A few things will cause this problem. First, turn the power off to the saw. Then check all of the electrical connections on the saw. You will need to remove the covers to get to all of the connections. While you are in there, go ahead and blow out around all of the electrical connections. I have seen dust build up cause contact problems in relays and switches. Once it is clean and checked go ahead and check the operation. If you are still having problems please let me know. I will contact the factory and see if they have a wiring diagram for this unit. To properly diagnose the problem you will need a meter and feel comfortable making voltage checks.

To change the belt on your saw please follow the steps below.

  1. Unplug the saw
  2. Open the access door on the side of the saw
  3. Lower the blade
  4. Lift the motor to loosen the belts. The motor is very heavy, you might have to use a long 2x4 as a lever to lift the motor.
  5. Once the motor is lifted, remove the belts from the pulleys.
  6. Install the new belts and lower the motor. Make sure to replace all of the belts at the same time so they are the same size.

If you need further assistance on the saw, please add more details below.
