Removal of shaft from hub bracket 351225000 Craftsman Sander

A:

We do not have a service manual on this belt sander. I can only go by the image. It looks like you will need to loosen #9 on item #38. Remove #31 and #39. Remove #11 and you should be able to remove the axle assembly. You will also need to loosen or remove the set screw #16 and the shaft should slide out of the drum. If you are not able to remove and replace the bracket, I recommend taking it in for repair.

I have removed the shaft. Had to removed the bracket assembly and then remove the bearings with a bearing puller. This was not an east task and I recommend that those in the future seek a repair person if they do not know how to do it.
