Thank you for your question on the scroll saw only using pin end blades.

I am sorry but when this manufacture made this saw it was only designed to use pin end blades. I do not know of any after market kit for this saw that was made to fit plain end blades.

Thank you.

Thank you for your question.

I will be happy to assist you with the saw. I have look up the model you have submitted. If the blade is not tensioned correctly, the blade will not stay in the top or bottom holder. Per the instructions in the manual if, the tension on the blade is not correct you need to remove the top cover and tighten the hex head bolt to add more tension.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.

Q:

How to adjust cutting height on Craftsman tilt saw Model 351.216120.

A:

Freeing the saw arm should be clearer in the directions. I see the problem. The expert will review and respond within 24-48 hours if not sooner. I can understand you are anxious to put the saw to use but hang in there for just a bit for the correct information.

A:

The cutting arm of the saw can be tilted to bake bevel cuts. The height of cut is not adjustable. If you look at the parts diagram for the saw you will see the cutting arm is one piece. There is no hinge on the back of the arm so you could raise the top and leave the bottom in place.

I am sorry if you were misled to think you could increase the height of cut. You can take the saw back to the retail store and exchange it for a different model. You can also return the saw and get your money back.

If I have misunderstood your question or you have more questions, reply on this thread and I will be glad to help.
