Q:

How do I remove a stuck brad from the business end of a Craftsman brad nailer?

A:

On some Craftsman models there is quick release end to get at any stuck or damaged nails, see image below from the 351.183230 model as an example.

If your model has any feature like that it should be covered in your Owner's Manual and it will obviously be the best way to go.

If not, then you may be able to unload the gun and reach the jammed nail from the other side or use something to push it back out that way. Or, you may need to start disassembling the nailer until you can get it out. Using the parts illustrations on the Sears PartsDirect will help as a guide to how the tool is assembled.

If you are not comfortable doing that or unsure what to do next you might consider taking the nailer to a local Sears Service Center or Sears Store for someone to inspect and help you in-person or submit another question here with the complete model number and we will do our best to help further.
