Question and Answers

Q:

o-rings 351.183150

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
Unfortunately, we do not have any of the O-ring specifications for either nailer. The manufacturer that produced these for Craftsman would consider that proprietary information, which is typically not released.
However, I agree with you. The O-rings should be pretty easy to match up. If you still have the originals, that would be the easiest way to match them to make sure they are the right size. Otherwise, you will need to take the nailers to a location locally that specializes in O-rings and seals and see if they can assist you with the right diameter of rings.
Hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Q:

Repair Mode;351.183150 air power finish nailer. Craftsman Nailer

A:

Thank you for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com with your questions about your Craftsman Nailer. I am so sorry it is leaking air. I can appreciate wanting to know the cost of a repair to determine if it is worthwhile. I will be happy to help you with this.

In this case a majority of the parts that may be needed  to complete the repair are no longer available. If the problem is a small item like an o-ring or  the breather valve, we may still have the part. But parts like the cylinder, cylinder seal, piston ram assembly, the lower valve, are no longer made.

It will be easier to determine if repairing this nailer is even possible if you can tell us which parts have failed. If you only need a single item like the breather valve, the part is $11.99 plus shipping and your local tax. If you need several small parts like o-rings, they can range in price from $2.16 to around $6.00 depending on the o-ring.

Because this nailer is quite a few years old and the majority of parts for it are no longer available, you may want to invest your money towards a new nailer. I have included a link for you to see the nailers we have available.

A:

Air leaks from the weep hole whenever a seal is leaking inside the nail gun. To determine which seal is leaking you will have to take the gun apart and inspect each seal. You will have to determine by looking at the o-rings and gaskets where the leak is coming from.

If you go to Parts Direct you can see a parts diagram of the nailer.

If you are not comfortable repairing the nail gun, you can take it to a Sears Service Center for repair. You can find the nearest location at Home Services
