A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. The model number is not bringing up any information on this unit. In general it could be the thermostat or the control board. We won’t have much information if the model number provided is correct.

Q:

my oven won't heat up, need a part to fix FGF348KCJ

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear that the oven is not heating after replacing the igniter. I know how frustrating that is.

First, check to see if the igniter is glowing. If it's not glowing and it has been replaced, the most likely problem will be with the control. However, to determine for sure a voltage check will need to be made, or the control terminals can be by-passed to make this check. This is something we recommend having a service technician do.

If it does glow, an amp check will need to be made. It must pull at least 2.5 amps to open the safety valve. If the amps are ok and there is still no flame, the safety valve will need to be replaced.

If you would feel more confident having a Sears Home Service technician help assist with the diagnosis/repair, you can call 1-800-469-4663, or click here to be directed to the page to set up service.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.
