I can understand the noisy Samsung refrigerator can be annoying and concerning.  An expert will respond within two business days with information on noises coming from refrigerators.  Since it is under warranty you may have a service technician look at it.  The link is provided below.

Thank you for contacting ManageMyLife.com regarding the low sound you are hearing coming from your new Samsung refrigerator. I understand your concern with this and I am happy to help you today.

Without knowing the exact sound, it's tough to determine what the issue might be. What type of sound is the unit making? Is it humming? Vibrating? Do you hear this coming from the freezer section or the refrigerator section? Where in the freezer/refrigerator section do you hear this sound coming from? About how long does the sound last? Most sounds coming from a newer model will be normal. I provided you with a direct link to some of the normal sounds your unit will make.

If the refrigerator and freezer are keeping normal temperature, the unit should be okay. However, if the noise seems to be getting louder, it is possible there may be an issue and I would strongly recommend scheduling service under the manufacturer's warranty.

If you may please respond to this thread with the requested information, I will gladly look further into this sound. I really hope this information helps you today. Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.

I listened to the low frequency humming this morning while getting ready for work. It continued to humm the entire time I was in the kitchen. The noise or humming is from the back of the refrigerator. I did open the refrig door once and the noise or humming stopped..

Normally this type of noise will be coming from the evaporator fan motor. Sometimes the air baffle can make the humming sound but it's generally not as loud and doesn't make a noise all the time. It would only make a noise when it's opening and closing. If it makes the humming noise most of the time, it will probably be the fan motor. As I had mentioned earlier, if the unit is maintaining normal temperature in the freezer section (0-5 degrees F) and in the refrigerator section (34-40 degrees F, recommended 37 degrees), more then likely the unit is okay and this is normal operation. If the noise gets louder or you notice ice build up or a drop/rise in the temperature, I would strongly recommend scheduling warranty service. Warranty service can be scheduled at 1-800-4MY-HOME. I hope this helps.
